If just enjoying the serenity is what you are looking for, there are numerous options to soak up the scenery. Sit on the deck, soak up the sun and listen to the waves crash. Need a bit of shade, watch the dolphins jump while lounging under the covered area of the oceanfront deck! Wait, did we also mention the oceanfront hot-tub!!

Be sure to visit some local attractions such as the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Hospital and the Missiles and More Museum, which tells the story of our island's past.

In the heart of Surf City and right on the beach. Well-maintained and stocked. Be sure to plan to bring or rent linens and beach toys/games/chairs, but other than that has all you need for the beach. Would return!

There is so much to say about the professional and personal experience in planning our perfect vacation with the staff at Ward Reality. The level of communication to set expectations and clarify the unknown of renting a new place was exceptional! I received important information through text and email prior to, during and after our stay that provided peace and security. Not to mention that I may have called the office quite a few times to ask random questions for which each call was answered warmly and welcoming! The beautiful, spacious home right on the beach, beside the pier, behind the grocery store, on the same road as amazing restaurants and shopping was perfect for our family of 14! While there was so much excitement and things to do around us “Pier Pressure” provided rest, relaxation, family time and privacy and a feeling of being at home. We already have our reservations for next year and intend to make this place our annual family retreat!
