Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located Modern Farmhouse Bungalow! Located in EADO (East Downtown) of Houston, you are 7-20 minutes away from Downtown, Midtown, Washington, and the Museum District.

You have a king bed (1) in the Primary Bedroom w/ full Primary bathroom and walk in shower, full bed (1) in the Second Bedroom w/ access to Guest bathroom, and the Third Bedroom office/flex space in the exterior accessory unit with two (2) twin beds on the Day Bed w/ shared access to the Guest bathroom. Guests may also sleep on the couch or find the inflatable air mattress should they need more sleeping space.
Please note that two bedrooms and two bathrooms are in the main building while the 3rd bedroom is placed in the exterior building located in the backyard. The 3rd bedroom has its own mini split AC system! The driveway gate is also currently not operational until further notice.

Park up to 3 car maximum. Two compact cars in the driveway gate, one on the driveway. Plenty of street parking is available right in front of the property. Be careful when driving in the gate, the driveway bridges over a drainage ditch.
No smoking inside.
You may find clean sheets and towels in other rooms of the house. There should be a set of bath towels, wash clothes, and make up towels per reservation.
There is an additional yet to be determined commercial usage fee for guests who require filming video or audio on the property.
Quiet hours are after 10 PM from Sunday to Thursday and 11 PM from Friday to Saturday.
No food or drinks in bedrooms.
No parties or large gatherings without prior mutual agreement.
No cats; dogs are allowed on a case by case basis. There will be an additional $65 cleaning fee per dog. Please bring crates for dogs that will be left unattended. No dogs on beds or furniture please. For undisclosed pets brought into the listing, there is an additional $250 fee.
Pets are not allowed on any furniture or beds as well, please pick up your pet's waste.
Please do not flush anything except toilet paper in the toilet.
Lost key replacement fee is $50, and lost gate remote fee is $100.
Our team services the trash and recycle bins Sunday evening! You do not need to worry about them, but trash pick up is on Monday FYSA.
Violation of any house rules may result in police being called and prompt removal from the property.

Positives:
The house is nice, and the neighborhood was pretty quiet even over the weekend.
Inside the kitchen was quite usable and stocked with essentials and then some.
The home was quite clean throughout.
Location proximity was great to the stadium as well as the convention center.
Quiet, cozy home. It worked perfectly for the week we used the location.
The bedrooms were usable and clean.
Negatives:
Communication with the host was a bit delayed in terms of replying to get an answer on early check-in, but i also understand life happens.
Don't expect the ability to enter until the check-in time, without confirmation from the host. If check-in is at 4pm, that lock will not allow the code entry til exactly 4 pm. The driveway/parking area is a bit tight if in a larger suv or truck. But managed to park two larger vehicles, but it is a tight squeeze.
I misread the description and did not realize the 3rd bedroom was an outside unit.
The outside unit does not have plumbing but does have power and an AC unit.
But the backdoor to the home is not a keypad entry so it is either leave the backdoor unlocked, or the person walks to the front if they need to use the bathroom.
The security camera notifications are quite annoying when, say a stray dog runs through the backyard.
Master has a low bedframe, was not expecting that.. must of missed that in the photos.
Overall would stay again.

Nicely remodeled house in quiet area. Clean with comfortable beds. Kitchen is well stocked. Location was convenient for doing the Aquarium and Space Center. Other than fast food there is nothing else nearby including grocery stores so you will need a car. The host is very attentive and check in and out was easy.

overall impression was good, the house was clean and well appointed and the mgmt was very attentive and responsive. Although the security cameras talk to you when ever you pass by and it is creepy knowing someone is always watching you, even made me feel like there were cameras in the house. I sure hope not. The house was not ready for a 4pm check in and the cleaners did not finish until after 5 so we could check in. That is annoying since the 4pm check in is already late in the day. We won't book this place again, although it may be a good pick for other "group members".
