Beautiful scenery, excellent host and good service

Hospitality of note by host Felix and his team at a beautifully rustic property, the dogs were a special treat and all the little kindness that was sprinkled across my stay-driving me around, doing my laundry and making sure I’m eating the yummiest meals . The HIMBA Village was a once in a lifetime with its heartfelt authenticity , I went back just to spend more time with them. Felix, the owner and host is very friendly and ready to share his insights. Take sometime to engage with him and let him explain about running a lodge and farm in Namibia. Felix has allotted a piece of his land for free to a small Himba community that lost their original grounds. Do take the time to visit them and see the traditional way of Himba living. It may feel a bit uncomfortable but in its own way this really is a win - win. You get to see a piece of Himba tradition, the Himba get a fee that will allow them to sustain their way of living. And there is the famous giant Felix steak, mentioned many times before, it really is there! 😃

Felix is a really nice Host!! We enjoyed chatting with him. The place can be a real Gem, beautifull swimming pools. Felix has great ideas for the place.

Wifi not good. The place needs a bit of work but I'm sure in 6 month's time it will be nicer. And all the swimming pools will have water.
