Quinn's Cottage - Central Armidale

A great older house

Was missing some basic stuff- alfoil.cling film I thought we would have had a load of wood near the fireplace on arrival

Quinn's Cottage is in an excellent location - it's within walking distance of the city centre and very close to a fantastic coffee shop about a 400m walk down the road (one of the recommendations provided which didn't disappoint). The cottage was exceptionally well presented and clean - we've stayed in quite a few places we've booked via Booking.com and this property is by far the cleanest property we've ever stayed at. The beds were comfortable and the house was able to be kept really warm with the woodfire (ample firewood was provided) and heating units. The backyard is spacious and it was lovely sitting out on the deck enjoying a coffee while the boys kicked the soccer ball around. There's a patio heater available, but we didn't need to use it as the weather was quite lovely for this time of year. It was also lovely sitting on the front verandah of a morning enjoying the morning sun. It's also well fenced in, which was great as we were travelling with our kelpie - offered peace of mind that she couldn't escape.

The lounge and armchairs in the loungeroom aren't the most comfortable, but that's only a minor point considering the overall comfort of the house. Supplying basic staples/more of the basic staples that are usually provided - cling wrap, foil, paper towel and toilet paper (two bathrooms didn't have enough toilet paper) would have been nice.

Beautifully maintained property. The owners had put a lot of thought into the comfort of guests.
