    We have stayed there 3 nights and we liked it so much that returning from Bukhara we have stayed an other 2 nights. The staff is helpful and polite, the breakfast was plentyful and really good, the rooms and corridors are spotlessly clean, the hotel is not far from Registan, but it is still a bit of a walk there - in the summer heat you better take a taxi! We thoroughly recommend this hotel!

    Lovely hotel, close to city and attractions. The breakfast buffet was really good: lots of varieties and everything tasty. Staff at Reception helpful and polite. We stayed for 3 nights, but will return for an other 2, on our way back from visiting other places

    A comfortable stay for the kind of hotel. Rooms were adequate and the breakfast was genuinely good — a special mention for the chef *** (apologies if the spelling is incorrect) who deserves recognition for the quality of food served. However the washrooms were not up to the mark and need improvement. The most significant issue was the hotel's failure to register our stay with the local authorities as required by Uzbekistan law. Hotels are legally obligated to upload foreign national registration details within 24 hours of check-in. Medina Hotel did not do this, which caused a serious problem at our next hotel in the middle of the night. We were made to wait over 2 hours — well past midnight — while this was sorted out. This is an unacceptable lapse that caused considerable inconvenience and stress to our family. This failure could also have had serious consequences had we proceeded directly to the airport — foreign nationals without proper registration can face difficulties exiting the country at immigration. We would urge the management to ensure this legal requirement is fulfilled promptly for all future guests. Failure to do so creates real difficulties for travellers, particularly those with onward travel commitments
