My room was already booked and fully paid for through Agoda, but when I arrived at around 5:00 AM, the receptionist, xxx, tried to charge me an additional $90. He insisted that I had to pay this amount and threatened not to let me into my room, even though I had a confirmed, prepaid reservation.
When I asked him to explain what the extra charge was for, he could not provide a clear explanation. This was extremely frustrating and unacceptable, especially after a long journey and arriving early in the morning.
I expect a hotel to respect confirmed bookings, be transparent about any additional charges, and treat guests professionally. Unfortunately, this experience was very disappointing. I hope the hotel management investigates this incident and takes appropriate action to ensure other guests do not face the same situation.

The hotel is sparkling new, the room is spacious, everything 4 star. It is located almost ten km from city center and 2km from any public transportation. There is no shuttle service to town, no ATM inside the hotel. It is obviously intended for traveller's with own means of transportation, but really difficult for everyone else. There is a restaurant and a pub inside the hotel, but that is it. For everything else you need a taxi.
