The location was amazing and the historical nature of the property made it really interesting.
We did have a bat on the last night and we had a few issues, but they were quickly rectified by the very helpful staff. It is an old property and is in need of some repair. The kitchen is very rustic. We had a wild dog jumped into the garden while we were there and was sniffing around those days. Also the neighbours dogs made quite annoyed early in the morning and in the evening.

It wasn't explained that we would be sharing the Longhouse (it was divided in two) with another couple.

A truly wonderful & beautiful location, despite being off grid 😊 The accommodation has everything (except wifi) & was perfect for walking. The place also had an amazing shower ! The grandkids also loved it 😀
Sadly, we didn't see any bats 😢
