    The staff were friendly and helpful, but the facilities were very poor. After checking in, I couldn’t open my door. A member of staff came to help and explained that I needed to push much harder to open it — which I found quite frustrating. The air conditioner didn’t work at all, and I can’t imagine how anyone could get through a summer night in Istanbul without it. I really think the facilities should be repaired. At the very least, everything should be made to function properly.
