Vintage Golf/Ski Condo near Mt. Hood w/ Beautiful Views

Clean, comfortable, quiet, beautiful view of the golf course and surrounding mountains - every need and expectation was met. An abundance of firewood and kindling provided the setting for two cozy evenings.

Everything about this property is awesome from the view to the fireplace to the parking, and it's extremely convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

Upon arrival, the unit had a strong mildew odor, which was especially noticeable in the bath towels, even after washing them, the smell remained. The bathrooms smelled like urine/ sewage. The listing advertised air conditioning (they recently took it off but I still have screenshots), but there was NO AC, only small fans that didn’t keep the space cool. When I reached out for a portable AC (which they stated they have), the host suggested opening the windows instead, which wasn’t helpful given the heat. There were also multiple large insects (dead and alive) in the home throughout our stay. I’ve encountered at least 9 bugs. While I understand the wooded location, it doesn’t excuse the lack of proper cleaning. We spent our days hiking and were hoping to return to a comfortable and cool space, but instead came back to a hot, humid environment with ongoing cleanliness issues. The photos in this listing are accurate, BUT the unit did not feel or smell clean in person. I will say the only thing I enjoyed was the location, size of the unit, the king size bed, and the patio view.
