With 3 bedrooms, 2 ‎bathrooms, and a large loft, our mountain timber frame home is the perfect getaway for a family ‎vacation or a weekend escape from city life. Featuring an open floor plan with beautiful views ‎of Hunchback Mountain and the foothills of Mt. Hood, our home comfortably sleeps 10 (1 king ‎bed, 1 queen bed, 2 full beds, plus bunk beds), and owner will consider a larger party with ‎children under 6. The house worked very well for 4 people with occasional guests. We liked having quick access to the mountain and hiking trails close to Welches. We also liked the view out the front of the house across the golf course and toward the mountain. Ariel and Garret our hosts were responsive and easy to work with. All and all a very positive experience!

"Inn Over My Skis" was perfect for visiting. our Orgeon family. The 3 bedroom home included 2 family gathering rooms, dining area, and a small but well equipped kitchen. We spent our days exploring the area with hikes to Little Crater Lake Trillum Lake, Salmon River and trail up the mountain. The neighborhood is also good for shorter walks. We also enjoyed the front deck and made good use of the grill. we returned to Portland through the Columbia River George so the beauty of Oregon continued.

Well conceived floor plan with a variety of supplies geared for children, with games, toys, movies, bunk beds. We found delight in the kids being upstairs with adults downstairs, easy to communicate with the kids with the open floor plan. TV upstairs is rather small and could be upgraded was our only neutral finding, but works great.

We had a great weekend stay at Inn Over Our Skis. We were given check-in information a few hours before arrival, so it was seamless. The house is made for families - there were plenty of toys, and lots of space for the kids to run around and sleep. The upstairs King bed was super comfortable - perfect after a day of skiing/sledding. There were thoughtful amenities included - shampoo/conditioner/hair dryer/lots of cooking utensils and pots and pans which made our short travel that much easier. It's about a 15 minute drive to Summit Ski Resort with no traffic - but be aware that traffic has been rough on the weekends lately, so it took us a little over 30 minutes to get to Summit in bumper to bumper traffic, and over an hour to get to Meadows when typically that takes 30 min with no traffic. We loved how quiet the house was, and the views of the golf course across the street were very pretty. Coming back after a long day of skiing/snowboarding to an instantly warm fire and a comfy living room was perfect. We'd definitely book this house again for our next trip up to the mountain.
