Enjoy a relaxing stay nestled along Johnson Lake.
Our space offers a King size sleep number, 1 queen sofa sleeper, and 1 love seat sleeper w/ one and 1/2 baths. Quiet, peaceful space offering endless amounts of nature & fishing (no license required) and if you are wanting to do a little exploring nearby offers Rock City, Cloudland Canyon State Park & McLemore Golf Club.
Great getaway to unwind with the family. Fish, BBQ, lounge on the back porch and feel the breeze coming off the lake.

This property is only 30 minutes to the great city of Chattanooga! ** PLEASE NOTE TWO THINGS PRIOR TO BOOKING** 1) This cabin sits on a lake. Anything water activity related i.e swimming, canoeing is all AT YOUR OWN RISK. We are not responsible for accident or injury. 2) We have two security cameras. One is located on the front porch, and one is located on the backporch this is to give us and our guests peace of mind, and also to use in the event of a theft, vandalism, ext. By booking with us you have acknowledged these points listed by the host.

My husband thoroughly enjoyed taking the canoe out to fish, while i paddled us around! It was truly a peace filled stay and we are incredibly grateful for the experience!

We enjoyed staying in this cabin. There are 2 ways of entering this quaint fishing community off of Newsome Gap. The way we initially entered was down a long, steep decline of gravel road which winded down the side of the mountain. There is an alternate entrance with a nice paved road. Highly suggest researching which route you’d prefer to drive! :-) We were mainly at the cabin just to sleep so cannot speak on the amenities. The toiletries, linens, and freshly laundered towels were a very welcome touch. The cabin felt very spacious even though the space is small. We felt we had plenty of space upstairs and our young children enjoyed the pull out sofa couch. We did have a thunderstorm one evening and the sound of rain and acorns falling on the roof were enjoyable! Thanks for hosting!
