Stonehaven at Westgate

This place looks even better than in the pictures. It was a nice touch to have a little welcome package of bottled waters and munchies waiting for us when we arrived. There were plenty of sheets and towels for each room, and the kitchen had most of the kitchen staples, which was nice. The house is in a gated community so it feels very safe and secure staying there and walking around, but it was still nice to have a garage to secure the car. Weather wasn’t an issue for us in April, but in the summer, I think the garage would be very nice to keep the car out of the sun. We enjoyed our coffee every morning in the quaint private back yard. The location is fantastic. It is walking distance to the State Farm Arena, which saved us the hassle of parking and getting in and out of the arena. We just walked by all the lines of cars. I like to run, so I loved being so close to the Arizona Canal, which is 23 miles of paved and gravel running path. I watched the sunrise come up over the canal. So beautiful. The Westgate Entertainment District is close enough to walk, but we ended up driving almost every day for restaurants, pubs, bowling, golf, and ax throwing. I think ESPN was broadcasting from the courtyard there too. Very exciting. The hosts were very quick to respond to any questions I had, and very pleasant to work with. I really loved the area, so I hope to come back. I will happily stay at this house again if it is available.
