Mountain Jungle Cozy Apartment - with POOL + WIFI + A/C

We stayed in their Vrbo rental at the hotel, they offered all the hotel amenities to us. The grounds are beautiful and location is perfect for the park or quepos. Staff were attentive and the bar, restaurant and pool were top notch. The capuchins came to greet us on day one as well. You can see just as much wildlife as the park from the front step here. Amazing

Note: we were offered a different room than originally booked because of difficult access when heavy rain. This is an hotel located on a hill side outside Quepos. The rooms are dispersed among the forest, just gorgeous (access via the road across the Marina). Very well kept with a beautiful pool. The city, Manual Antonio Park and the beaches have much to offer. Great location. While the staff will offer great help people with limited mobility could find this hotel challenging. It feels immersed in the jungle. HIghly recommend.

The macaws and the monkeys are viewable from our room window. The property is not for people who cannot deal with stairs and steep walkways. Gary and Catalina are great hosts and know the area and the history of Quepos. Overall would definitely recommend this property. Problem was Vrbo didn't comunicate to Dyan we added a day. He took care of it with no added charges that Vrbo charged, Great experience!

It's really hard to write a review for here, because the staff were SO wonderful, unfortunately other things just let it down. My original room was nice at first, until the power went out (twice), my fridge leaked water all over my floor (twice), and the water stopped working 3 times. The staff, as mentioned before, were lovely, and I felt for them as they were clearly embarrassed about everything that was going wrong and were trying their hardest to fix it. Particularly Brandon, and a young German girl (apologies that I can't remember her name!), who were so nice. I was in this room for 3 days before housekeeping cleaned it, it was only when I asked for clean towels (as I had used mine to mop up the fridge water), that they came. As you can't flush the toilet paper, you have to put it in the bin, and it's pretty gross when that's sat around for days! I was eventually moved to a different room, so packed up all of my stuff and tbh, this new room was wonderful. The hotel booked a tour for me, I woke up early and got ready, to be told the booking was never confirmed. I did it later that day but that ruined the plans I had already made for that afternoon. The area is beautiful, with an abundance of wildlife, I saw monkeys, scarlet macaws, an opossum, toucans and lots more! The pool area is nice and the breakfast was delicious. Unfortunately, I just felt quite anxious that something else was going to go wrong, which isn't what you want on holiday!
