Being in the summer months, having a pool is a must. The pool is a decent size for a small property. The only thing was I didn't realize it's run like an Airbnb. (No host in site). However, the owner is very responsive before and throughout my stay. Definnately wants my stay to be pleasant and comfortable. The is oil and salt and pepper in the little kitchenette which is great. There a a few restaurants and 2 XooX within 10 mins of walking. Very quiet neighborhood.

The mattress was way too firm for me. The fridge or some machine was very loud. Bring ear plugs just in case.

Easy, direct instructions and communication with host. I also stayed at this property in November 2025 in a different suite as a solo traveler. I found the design and arrangements both times were very well thought out making for a comfortable short and longer stay. On this stay we had a large walk-in closet that allowed us to feel more at home (not in a hotel). Both my husband and I found the kitchen had just enough of what we needed to perform the small amount of food prep we wanted to do while on holiday -- a blender for smoothie-type drinks, a hot plate for a couple of one-pan meals like eggs, stir fry. And the little fridge and microwave gave us a way to make use of leftovers from large restaurant portions. The host also graciously received my suggestion when a small issue arose (which was promptly and effectively handled). I very much enjoy use of the common outdoor lounge area and small pool; that's a valuable addition to this particular property for me.

Would have been nice to have a second set of keys so my husband and I didn't have to coordinate our comings and goings together but I didn't think to mention this to the host (until now). When I return with my husband, which I hope to do, I would make that request in advance and predict it being accommodated.

Pool water is too cold

No Breakfast

It could have been cleaned much better I know it’s a dusty area but the bathroom and kitchen shelves hadn’t been cleaned for weeks I spent two hours cleaning everything before we felt we could move in. Very disappointing this apartment had the potential to be the best of our six places we have stayed in Baja.
