Kalidasa Tree House and Villa,Wayanad

We recently stayed at Kalidasa Tree House for two nights, and it has been one of our best stay experiences in India, especially at such an affordable price. The treehouse is cozy, beautifully maintained, and spotlessly clean. Set amidst a lush plantation with coffee and fruit trees all around, it feels wonderfully secluded. Since this is the only treehouse on the property, all we could see around is greenery instead of concrete structures. It was like an immersive nature experience with the chorus of crickets and Cicadas (even in the day) and countless birds. But what truly made this stay special was the hosts. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel less like guests and more like family. The home-cooked vegetarian meals were absolutely delicious, with the vegetables sourced from their own garden, so we often found ourselves overeating. 😊 They were incredibly humble and thoughtful, always making sure we had everything we needed before we even had to ask. They also arranged a safari for us in Kabini, which turned out to be a wonderful addition to our trip. Before we left, they packed us some fruits from their garden and even checked in later to make sure we had reached home safely. It was such a thoughtful gesture. We can’t wait to return.

It was an unforgettable experience, made all the more special by our wonderful hosts, Sudeesh and his wife Jyoti Sudeesh, whose warmth and hospitality made us feel like family.

Relaxing, clean, lots of birds

The property is very well maintained and clean with great views. The hospitality was really good. We were served with the organic food which was grown in their farm. I strongly recommend this place.
