Cosy. Felt like a home rather than a typical holiday refurbishment. Owners had left a small basket of treats that helped us to feel very welcome. Unlike some rentals I've experienced, the place had been furnished and stocked with care so that everything needed was there and working. It felt like someone's home, with the personalisation that comes with that.Thank you for letting us stay. Free parking on the street was easy. Always got a spot right by the front door. The street was quiet and felt safe. Few neighbours we saw were friendly. Lovely well kept allotments close by. A couple of Shops close by. Two big bedrooms and one small. Large lounge and separate dining room. Additional Sky lounge was special. Large bathroom with jacuzzi bath and separate shower cubicle. Less than a mile from the town centre. Close to Barter Books for great lunch.
Nothing to criticise. My legs didn't like the (short) hill on the way back from town.
