Do you want to spend your holidays combining a stay in the beautiful Stockholm archipelago with exploring Stockholm City, then you've come to the right place. The Island of Vindo is connected to mainland through a bridge and the road takes you from the wilderness to downtown Stockholm in only 45 minutes. Family-friendly surroundings with small football-field in the village, and small town of Djurö, just 3 km away with shops, restaurants, small-boat harbor and necessary community service.

We enjoyed a 10 day vacation in this well equipped house. Our teenage kids had a lot of fun with the pool, the bikes and the boat. Communication was really easy and the host Alex quick to answer any questions. Thanks much!

Jag och min familj hade en mycket trevlig weekend-vistelse här. Kan varmt rekommendera detta smultronställe. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka för en längre vistelse!

Bra läge, nära till havet. Trevligt med egen pool. Alex var väldigt hjälpsam angående frågor och annat om boendet. Rekommenderas! Kan tänka mig komma hit igen :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alex and Emma’s house in the forest - it’s just 45 mins from the city, yet feels further from any hustle and bustle of urban life. We travelled from Ireland with our 3 children (11,10 & 6years old) in August. The kids loved the heated pool and the surrounding decking is perfect for soaking up the sun. The house itself is very well equipped with everything a family our size might need. We did not use the annex, but there are 2 beds there to accommodate a larger group.
We fished from the shore, rowed in the boat and cycled and swam on Skarpö . We saw lots of wildlife - we even spotted a moose one day just behind the property in the woods!!
