Beneste Nerja Hostal

Room was modern and contemporary, recently renovated I assume and really comfy! It was equipped and replenished daily with coffee/tea facilities as well. I enjoyed its balcony too. Accomodation is less than 10mins walk from the beach which is really convenient for the beach lovers!

The fact that the reception desk is at least 300m away ( maybe more )and especially if you are travelling with big luggages it’s really a burden having to walk back to the room after you check in. I believe hostal guests should be assisted with this during the check in, by being offered a quick ride to the room or having at least the luggages being delivered to the room by the hotel’s staff. The automatic card key to the entrance of the facility does not work in the evening ( for security reasons I was told), hence you need to ring the bell and wait for the reception desk at Beneste Villa Hotel to open for you.

It was newly reverbished and close to the main town. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Check in at a different location and key card to room didn’t work on day 2. Private pool at the hostal was lovely but would have been even better if loungers or chairs were available.

The place was very clean, modern, and comfortable, and also surprisingly quiet. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again.
