Lovely appartment, had all necessary facilities. Having a family of 5 was cheaper than two hotel rooms & more spacio

It was very clean & tidy. Seemed like new but was informed it was not!

There were low roofs, being 6ft 1 I bumped my head a few times! The rest of the family were fine!

Alton towers stay .

Beds were comfy, it was well decorated , warm, cosy, fresh and very cute! Beautiful setting in a beautiful village. 😍 We had a lovely meal in a pub across the street, the bulls horn, which we would highly recommend , gorgeous little place , so no need for driving. We stayed here for a trip to Alton towers and couldn't have picked a more perfect setting to unwind after a busy morning travelling and exploring the park , just a mere 4 minute drive away!! We will definitely be back. Thank you x

There was a bit of a mix up with allocating us our room so there were no towels but a quick nip downstairs and this was sorted for us.

Loved the location, perfect for us visiting Alton Towers for 2 days. Apartment was super clean and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable. Had everything we needed. All very modern. Much better than a hotel as teenage daughters had their own room/space. The pub down the road did an excellent takeaway menu which was great value for money. Great being able to park right outside property. All in all loved this apartment!

Not being able to put heating on and off ourselves, we had to ask bar staff to message the person who owned property to do this. It wasn’t a problem, staff were brilliant and it was rectified in minutes but might be an idea to put information about this in information manual for future guests. The shower temperature went from really hot to unbearably hot. I was really looking forward to having a long shower as it had a beautiful rainfall shower head but was too hot after a couple of minutes, the temperature turned right down to minimum was still unbelievably hot, all guests experienced the same problem.

The cleanest, well equipped and most comfortable apartment, a perfect place to stay.

The property was clean, comfortable and well equipped. I loved the little touches, on arrival there was tea coffee and a litre of milk in the fridge. The bathroom had extras like sanitary wear, as well as shampoo and body was etc. There was a comprehensive file on things you needed to know and local pubs and restaurants and walks.

A wonderful stay! Hoping to visit again soon

The location was the perfect place to relax after a busy day at Alton towers.The apartment was clean, cosy and homely. We enjoyed playing some of the board games in the evening too. Hoping to return sometime and I've already recommended a stay at the White Hart to my friends.

We had hoped to sample the Thai food although two of our party were vegetarian and there didn't seem to be many options for them. We instead got takeaway food from the pub over the road but had to wait 1.5hrs!

The accommodation was lovely and the Thai food served in the restaurant was excellent as was the pub-lovely local with good beer garden and playground for children)-although we didn’t use these!) Check in easy with friendly staff who showed us into the apartment and explained everything . A great location for Alton Towers and surrounding area.Good choice of other places to eat within close proximity in a lovely village.

Only draw back was shower ceiling low but only because one of our guests is tall!

Cosy, comfy cottage. Very clean and tidy. Perfect for me and my husband with our 3 kids. Great location as we were visiting Alton Towers.

Above a pub which was no problem at all (didn’t hear anyone) except for a door slamming downstairs for a lot of the evening. Luckily it was below the lounge area and not the bedrooms so it was no problem- just annoying when we were watching the tv.

Exceptional

The property was perfect for our stay, we were welcomed and shown to our apartment, where we were left to make ourselves comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The location was ideal for what we needed as it was only 10 minutes away from Alton Towers. The place was extremely clean and refurbished/decorated to a beautiful standard. We are already planning our next visit to see more of the area as spending 2 full days in the theme park we didn’t have chance to explore the surrounding countryside which is near the Peak District. This was great value for money and would highly recommend staying here.

There wasn’t anything to dislike about this property but something to think about is adding an extra shower room.

Perfect location for Alton Towers, very clean and modern. Really comfortable beds and living room. Lovely to have a pub downstairs with a pool table.

Parking was a bit of an issue and pub clientele not particularly welcoming.

Classy and comfortable period apartment. Roomy and all mod cons. Great attention to detail especially the information booklet and bottle of wine.

Blind in bedroom didn’t work but it didn’t bother us too much as we were so knackered we slept fine.

Great Apartment, lovely staff, friendly vibe

The location was perfect for us as we were booked as a family to visit Alton Towers, which was a few minutes drive away. The apartment was beautiful and the staff were all lovely. I love the allotments out back and the fact that the community all work together to keep the White Hart going.

Slight mix up on arrival but this was quickly and professionally dealt with and I have no complaints at all about any aspect of our stay

very clean, quirky and comfortable with modern furnishings. well equipped kitchen. really close to Alton Towers. Suitable for families.

we didn’t find a heating thermostat so it was fairly cool. the doors were very small and head injury risk for anybody over 5ft 6.
