Royal Ping Garden and Resort

Nested in a wonderful garden. Convenient location to visit the area on daily tours. It is an oldish resort which may need some renovation. Bar and restaurant were closed at the time of our stay. The few people from the staff were extremely kind and helpful.

I`m personally attracted by hotels in a natural setting. Royal Ping Garden is one of those. Few hotels can claim to have a genuine natural environment including the sounds and scents that are part of that. The well designed wooden lodges are tasteful and attractive. The rooms are comfortable.

I’ve stayed in the hotel many times over a period of 20 years. It was part of my tour programs and a garantueed joy for my clients to stay there. But the hotel is aging and went in into a state of “hibernation” apparently during the years of the Covid pandemic. The management was clearly absent at the time of our stay and on the spot service was left to the house keeping staff who, though friendly, had little understanding of how to communicate with foreign clients nor what to provide them with breakfast. We ended up by taking things into our own hands.

The resort was quiet, with lots of open space to enjoy the cool weather. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Royal Ping.

They have a really good food available, the bed is comfortable, and the place is quite to rest with the pool. Free water any time, and they clean your room every day.

no hot water… !! 😫 no wifi… !! You need to ask the day before If you want to have breakfast , or dinner… and the nearest place to eat is far away from the hostel. was cool, but, is dirty and old, doesn’t deserve a 9 this hostel. no more than 6. passable.
