"FREE INTERNET WIFI" Set in the Umbrian countryside, close to Tuscany, between Città della Pieve (10 km) and Castiglion del Lago (12 km) il Casale alle Vie Bianche is a typical farmhouse built in 1860. The interior is very well furnished and cosy with 'terracotta' floors and exposed beam ceiling. Ground floor: lounge and dining room with fireplace, kitchen, 1 bathroom. 1 duble bedroom with ensuite bathroom. First floor: 5 bedrooms (3 double, 1 triple, 1 single with fireplace), lounge with fireplace, 2 bathrooms. The house is situated in a farming estate of 35 hectares of wood and olive groves where you can have lovely walks in an unspoilt and enchanting nature. The garden is completely fenced and there are kids outdoor games (swing and see-saw). In front of the main building there is a porch with a large dining table and an original wood burning oven (great for pizza!). The biological farm produces extra virgin olive oil and offers its guests not polluting detergents and solar panels for hot water.

This property is perfect for a family reunion or girls trip. It’s secluded, but has everything you need. The outside pizza oven with space to eat outside. Amazing. There is a city close by to get everything you need before you get there. It is quiet and the views are amazing across the olive trees. The host was very nice and look forward to being back with friends!

We all loved this location. It was off the beaten track but it was so beautiful and peaceful. The only disappointment was the weather did not cooperate. It was clean and well taken care of. Raffaella Spada was so helpful. She gave us a recommendation for a wine tasting. Turned out awesome. I brought home 4 bottles of wine. We couldn't have asked for a better place or host. It is a great location you can a day trip to Tuscany or Umbria. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We, a family of 6 adults and 1 child, stayed at Le Vie Bianche for 2 weeks. The place is amazing. Plenty rooms available so everybody had their own place to retrieve. The house and swimming pool where very clean and the communication with the host was very easy. The little town Moiano has a cafe bar where you can sip your dopio and they were very fond of the 3 years old. We had a great time and the location is perfect too. Close to all of the beautifil places in Umbria and Toscana. Citta della Pieve is very close by and thanks to the host's tip we had a great cooking class at Bistrot del Duca which I recommend greatly. In short, a wonderful and perfect vacation.

If, like us, you are looking for that piece of hidden rustic paradise, this lovely old farmhouse is for you. 2km up a stone track, surrounded by a working olive farm, with wonderful views and a nice little pool, it suited six adults perfectly. Minor problems with electricity and water were dealt with promptly by helpful staff and Raffaella was always at the end of a phone to help out. It’s position allowed for day trips to Florence and numerous medieval villages and towns, good supermarkets and restaurants were 10/15 minutes away. Bring insect repellent! A wonderful holiday and we’d recommend the venue to anyone except, probably, those with small children.

We stayed in this gorgeous, charming, perfect stone farmhouse for five nights and did not want to leave. Our host was lovely, thoughtful, and a delight. The villa is huge and mind blowing. I’m obsessed with historic architecture and this was a wonderland of exposed beams, terracotta floors, well equipped marble kitchen, hand hewn doors with original hardware. Modern baths. And the setting and pool—it’s like you stepped into a renaissance painting of the pool, flowers, olive grove, grapevines, lavendar, gorgeous succulents. As a Gardener myself with many of the same plants I was delighted. The views are also spectacular and it’s steeped in quiet with easy day trips to amazing restaurants. Loved it so much!

My parents, my husband, and 4 kids stayed here for three nights and absolutely loved it. It is about 4 min off the main road down a gravel path with a private gate. The house has so much character: wooden beams, farmhouse table, outdoor sitting areas, old farm equipment...lots of fun exploring the grounds and inside the house. It is a big house and the grounds and pool were great fun for the kids. One bedroom down with bath, 5 maybe 6 upstairs and 2 bath, clean sheets and towels, close to Moiano and Chiusi. We made day trips to wine country. The owner was very responsive and his friends made getting to and leaving the house easy. A lovely, unforgettable stay for all 8 of us! Wonderful memories we will cherish.

Wonderful, wonderful place to spend time. We were not quite sure what to expect when we booked this vacation to central Italy in the Region of Umbria. We had a total of 21 absolutely glorious days here with a number of family and friends joining us for periods throughout this time. Vacation started with just my wife and I for the 1st couple days which we really enjoyed giving us some time to get the lay of the land. After the we averaged 8-10 people ranging from some nights with 5 to as many as 12. The house and surrounding grounds could handle it with ease. The pool was enjoyed every day and worked really well for cooling down a bit on some of the warmer days. It had a shallow section which worked perfect for our 2-1/2 yr old granddaughter who joined us for the later part of the stay. We really enjoyed our morning walks to the top of a local hill, helping us get some great exercise. Views around this countryside are as good as any we saw in nearby Tuscany. This property is within a couple kms of nearest town but was very quite and peaceful. The house itself was laid out great with a nice master bedroom, bathroom and sitting room on the main floor. The rest of the bedrooms were all upstairs and they worked great for our guests and family. One of the best things was all the outside space with tables and areas set up on all sides to be able to enjoy different views and ambiance throughout the day and evenings. The pizza oven outside was a real treat and highlight of many of the evenings. We enjoyed many a late night playing cards and Dominos. We certainly lived more outside then in during these 3 weeks as our weather was picture perfect the entire trip. Our favorite restaurant in the nearby town of Pacino (5 kms) was Locanda Manfredi. Great Italian fare, absolutely wonderful staff and service. We did mainly day travels to both Tuscan and Umbiran wineries from the place which are very douable, some as close as 20 min away. Nearby highlights included multiple medieval towns such as Citta della Pieve and Volterra with our favorite being one being Monltepulciano. Overnight trips included Florence (>2 hrs away) and Venice 3-1/2 hr drive. Many thanks go to Raffaella and her team, Massimo, Mario, and her grandson. They all did a great job to make our stay very special.

We, a group of four couples, stayed here for a week in April. It was perfect for us. We made pizza in the outside wood fired oven three times and it was the perfect setup with a covered outside room to prepare the pizza while we could all visit as well. The kitchen had everything we could need. We all had our own spaces in the spacious bedrooms and even made a cozy fire in the wood stove one evening. The garden was beautiful and well cared for. A great starting points for visits to other sites and did some hikes right from the door. .

"We had a WONDERFUL stay at Le Vie Bianche! For our family with 2 young children it was perfect, and the owner could not have been more accommodating. I hesitate to write about it because I don''t want anyone to discover this true gem in the Umbrian countryside! The house is furnished beautifully with many antiques but has a very homey feel at the same time. The gardener (who we did not see very often but who cleaned the pool every couple of days and tended to the large property) and the man who manages this property in the owner''s absence, were both so kind and helpful! The location is blissfully isolated and serene, though is only 4 KM from the nearest town, and ideally situated to see both Tucany and Umbria. There are so many wonderful places to discover, all within a very beautiful drive from the house, and the nearest train station at Chiusi Scalo takes you pretty much anywhere easily!...And you could spend days just exploring the beautiful property alone! A note: the house is an old stone farm house, nicely restored, but is a bit dark even during the day; so we spent most of our time outside enjoying the environs. The house was nice and cool (we were there for almost all of May) so cool that we lit the fire place on several occasions. This was great! We also used space heaters provided on chilly nights and this worked perfectly. Our children (ages 2 and 4) LOVED exploring every nook and cranny both inside and out. We loved the fact that most all rooms had doors (as well as top of stairs) that could be closed for safety. This house is large and spacious and we had more than enough room. It is so beautiful here, beautiful beyond words, and we are anxious to return! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!"

Le Vie Bianche è quanto più di paradisiaco ci sia sulla Terra. Un'oasi di pace e tranquillità dove godersi a pieno la natura, respirare il profumo degli alberi e finalmente riuscire ad ascoltare il silenzio. La casa è un ritorno al passato con tutti i comfort del presente da cui non vorresti mai andar via. Raffaella, la proprietaria, e la sua cagnetta Onda sono i ciceroni perfetti per scoprire ogni angolo della tenuta e la loro disponibilità e accoglienza è strepitosa. Un posto in cui andare almeno una volta nella vita, per ricaricare le batterie e riscoprire un po' la bellezza della solitudine. Ci torneremo senz'altro molto presto!

"Le vie bianche" è casa, è accoglienza e condivisione... è bellezza e cura, è armonia tra il calore degli arredi, dei dettagli dell'interno e il "respiro" che riempie i polmoni e gli occhi degli spazi meravigliosi che si trovano all'esterno. Siamo arrivati in 5, poi ci hanno raggiunti i nostri figli che si sono alternati con un'altra coppia di famiglia... e per tutte e tutti noi essere lì per due settimane è stata pace, gioia, musica e risate, angoli deliziosi per gustarsi un libro, ampi spazi in cui meditare o ballare, le tavolate piacevoli, la piscina in cui rinfrescarsi! Tutto davvero molto curato, casa super attrezzata sia dentro che fuori, dando proprio l'idea che per ogni ospite ci sia "posto"! Anche per il cucciolone di bernese, Drugo, sono stati giorni indimenticabili, si e' gustato i grandi spazi esterni, i profumi, i cieli stellati e tutti gli angoli freschi di questa splendida casa. La signora Raffaella molto gentile e cordiale, così come il signor Mario che si prende cura della piscina e del giardino. Sicuramente un luogo da consigliare e che rimane nel cuore. Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo passato ben 5 settimane alle vie bianche!Un posto incantevole immerso nel verde delle colline umbre, ad un passo dal lago trasimeno.Il casale molto bello,spazioso e con ogni comfort. L'esterno immenso, con una zona piscina carinissima e super attrezzata con letrini sedie e sdraio.La signora Raffaella sempre presente e disponibile telefonicamente. Che dire....una vacanza veramente stupenda sotto ogni punto di vista.Io e la mia famiglia non potevamo fare scelta migliore.

Sono stata con la mia famiglia in questa splendida villa per festeggiare il Natale e siamo stati benissimo. Ci siamo sentiti subito a “casa” perche’ il posto è molto accogliente e si vede che è gestito con amore dalle proprietarie. E poi c’e’ tanto tanto spazio all’aperto (molto curato) per chi come noi ha un cane. Ci torneremo molto presto di sicuro.

Anche quest' anno con il nostro gruppo di amici abbiamo deciso di trascorre il capodanno tutti insieme, come facciamo da molti anni e sempre in casali tra Umbria e Toscana. Il Casale è accogliente, spazioso, ben riscaldato e con ogni confort. La cucina super attrezzata, e che dire del forno a legna!!! Stupendo!!! Magnifico panorama, una pace indescrivibile e si può ammirare un cielo stellato incantevole. Punto strategico x visitare i molti borghi più belli d'Italia. Gentilissima la sig. ra Raffaella, anche se abbiamo avuto solo contatti telefonici, altrettanto Massimo che ci ha accolto. Soggiorno perfetto! Proprietaria estremamente precisa, presente e puntuale. Accoglienza impeccabile. Il posto dove sorge il casale è fantastico e estremamente curato, la vista incantevole. L'interno del casale, anch'esso curato nei minimi dettagli, dall'architettura agli arredi, è molto accogliente e dotato di ogni confort oltre ad essere pulitissimo. Schönes Haus mit Pool,ruhig wenige km von Moiano gelegen.Die Ausstattung entspricht der Beschreibung. Prima Kontakt zur Vermieterin und den vor Ort beauftragten Personen über Telefon. Die ruhige Lage ist etwas für Leute die Erholung suchen.Im Ort in der Nähe super Restaurants, Apotheke und Bank ,Tankstelle und 2 kleine Läden.Grössere Supermärkte in Po bandido Richtung Chiusi. Mitten in Umbrien an der Grenze zur Toskana. Immer wieder gern. Dankeschön an Raphaela und Massimo. P.S. Google Maps findet die Strasse nicht nach ihrem Namen,wenn man den Namen der Unterkunft eingibt führt es einen aber direkt zum Ziel. Der alte Pizzaofen ist ein Traum, selbst mal Steinofenpizza machen eine Klasse Erfahrung. Der Pool mit 2 unterschiedliche Tiefen ideal auch für kleine Kinder.

Non è stata la prima volta al casale ma è stata la prima volta al casale in estate...MERAVIGLIAAA!!! Ovviamente abbiamo utilizzato per lo più gli spazi esterni, perfettamente attrezzati: grande tavolo, grande barbecue dove fare grandi sbracciate e poi la piscina... apprezzata soprattutto dalle ragazze (ma anche dagli adulti!). A bordo piscina lettini e sdraio oppure prato curatissimo e altrettanto comodo. Tutto intorno una natura rilassante che non puoi non respirare, assaporare e mettere un po da parte per prolungare l'effetto benefico al rientro in città. Abbiamo veramente goduto di questo splendido posto dove ti senti a casa, ogni volta un po di più.... Gisella

Quest'anno c'eravamo proprio tutti, la famiglia al gran completo. Cercavamo un posto accogliente, familiare, tranquillo per tutti noi e per i due cani, anche loro della famiglia...lo abbiamo trovato in questo splendido casale. Il tempo di scaricare i bagagli, sistemare le proviste nel frigo (capiente), addobbare il nostro albero di Natale e accendere il fuoco ed ecco la sensazione meravigliosa di sentirsi a casa. Completa di tutto quello che può servire per un gruppo anche numeroso (eravamo in 10), stoviglie, pentole, padelle, una cucina perfettamente attrezzata, una bella macchina del gas con 5 fuochi e un forno ventilato dove abbiamo cucinato dei fantastici arrosti...la casa calda con i radiatori distribuiti in abbondanza in tutti gli ambienti. Un bellissimo camino d'epoca perfettamente funzionante. Letti comodi, biancheria pulitissima, ambienti perfettamente sistemati. All'arrivo ci ha accolti Nicola, un simpatico ragazzo che ci dato alcune informazioni pratiche riguardanti la casa, alla partenza lo abbiamo incontrato nuovamente con la sua mamma, anche lei persona gioviale. La casa ti accoglie con ospitalità e gentilezza e noi tutti abbiamo goduto di questa accoglienza. Un cesto con le dolcezze natalizie era pronto per farci sentire i benvenuti e noi abbiamo gradito e abbiamo gustato l'ottimo olio prodotto dai frutti del casale. Grazie Raffaella, non ci siamo incontrate ma la casa ci ha raccontato molto della bella persona che lei deve essere...sicuramente torneremo per vivere ancora delle belle sensazioni. Gisella
