Karatsu Seaside Hotel

ウェルカムケーキがありそのケーキがとても美味しかったし、部屋もとても広くて綺麗で最高でした。プールから見る景色もとても良く、海にも行けるし、混んでいなくてゆったり過ごせました。

This was a treat for us, and the hotel exceeded our expectations. Surprised and delighted to be upgraded to a larger room, which meant we had oodles of space to spread out. Stunning views, well-stocked minibar with beer and soft drinks, Afternoon tea cakes were delicious, pool and beach were much enjoyed. We were able to catch a local bus into the town for dinner on an evening, but had to taxi back due to timetabling, but not a big deal (around Y12-1500) Spent our days lazing at the pool or swimming in the sea, a very relaxing time that we needed. Thankful for free shuttle to/from local railway station for connections to Hakata and JR line shinkansen trains north.

More loungers and umbrellas are needed at the East Wing pool/beach area. There were only 8 shaded seats, and for a hotel of this size, more are needed - there was room to put loungers and umbrellas on grassed areas by the pool. A blackout blind in the bathroom would help keep the bedroom darker in the morning. This was a very expensive hotel to stay at (it was a one-off treat for us), and we did not eat in for any meals; to charge another Y4500 pp for breakfast on top of room charges seemed excessive.

喫煙がバルコニーで出来ると良かったです。 毎回5階から1階に降りて寒い館外に行きました。 少し寛ぎ感が薄れた。ヨーロッパは、屋外はOKですが、日本は少し違う。
