Beautiful everything —- food, room, staff, gardens. Exactly what a ryokan stay should be. Peaceful experience while being aesthetically visually stimulating.

This ryokan was recommended to us by local friends. We enjoyed the traditional atmosphere and hospitality, the gorgeous gardens and ceramics galleries, the public and private bath, and the view from our room.
It is a little far from town, so plan to walk or take a cab.
