Für uns war es eine der besten Unterkünfte in Schottland (waren schon zum 3. Mal in Schottland). Tolle Lage in mitten der Highlands umgeben von Weiden mit vielen Schafen und Kühen. Sehr geräumiges Haus mit 2 Schlafzimmern großer Küche und gemütlichem Wohnzimmer. Auch der extra eingezäunte Gartenbereich war für Urlaub mit Hund super und der tolle Blick auf die Berge. Es ist viel schöner als die Bilder vermuten lassen! Wir hoffen das wir nochmal dort Urlaub machen können.

Location - scenery was beautiful. Peaceful. Host was very good at contacting prior to arrival.

Furnishings could be upgraded to make more comfortable. Outside bench was dilapidated & unable to sit on. Table & chairs were very basic. Garden in need of attention. A few items in home required attention - put in book in property as requested.

The location is incredibly beautiful and it made the trip.

The cottage is rustic, to put it politely. The cleanliness was adequate, but it could use a thorough deep clean. The heaters are dated. We arrived, and it was very cold because we were a little bit early. We did need to buy an extra fan heater for the lounge. I did tell the host that the lounge heater was on the blink, but was met with "it will warm up". This place would definitely benefit from a slight modernisation, perhaps with a heating system or a log burner. The Wi-Fi was appalling; if you were upstairs, it was challenging to use. I also think it would benefit from a unique sign or something at the entrance so that it can be seen, especially at night, as it was incredibly dark and we almost missed the turning. All in all, the cottage was adequate. If you're going to experience more of the outdoors and don't mind the details, then go for it. But for us, we wanted to explore the outdoors and also have an element of comfort as we went during the festive time
