The location is good because it's right behind the Melbourne Events Centre, so it's convenient. If you have an event at the centre it's close and fairly easy to get to. That's the main benefit of this apartment. The rooms are a good size and the beds were okay, nice and big. It was clean and tidy, although not as luxurious as the pictures made us think it would be. If you have an event at the Melbourne Events Center, and just want a place to sleep and plan on eating out every night, this could work for you.

It didn't feel like the safest area. I wouldn't go out at night by myself in this area. There was a person yelling and swearing outside our window (we were on the 14th floor and could hear them yelling even from that high up) from about 1am to 4am the first night we were there. The windows all seemed to be single glazed, so it was very noisy (and there were no locks on the windows to prevent them being opened wide, so I wouldn't recommend people with young kids to stay here). The dishwasher was old and half the tines that hold the dishes up were broken. The fridge was so cold it froze our vegetables. The drain of the bathroom sink needed to be cleaned, as it filled with water and slowly drained whenever we used it. The shower didn't have a closeable door, so the floor got soaked whenever we showered (and the floor became very slippery once it was wet, possibly because of what had been used to clean the tiles). The lock on the door to the balcony didn't lock. It didn't feel like it was "exclusive" in any way. I was expecting a much more luxurious apartment based on the images.
