Villa Astrea

A picturesque haven, with exceptionally thoughtful and warm hosts in Paulo and his daughter Elvira. We are a family of five and delighted in the privacy and ease of this storybook-beautiful villa and private pool that really felt like our home while we were here. A car is essential, with a decent supermarket, restaurants and magical sea swims just a few minutes drive away. Our final delight in this stay were three very tame and giddy kittens that provided outdoor entertainment.

Villa Astrea met all our expectations. The villa is so comfortable and well appointed. There was everything we needed for our stay. We particularly liked the pool, the private garden with lovely shady trees, the table and chairs to sit out for breakfast and other meals. The location is good for the coast with lots of places to swim through need a car. The hosts were brilliant, communicated quickly and were just so helpful. It was easy to walk into Andrano for the local festival. There is a supermarket close too which helped greatly. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Villa Astrea and highly recommend.

Overall we liked everything. The kitchen is small but this was not a problem for us and it is well appointed.

Dům se nachází v naprosto klidné lokalitě uprostřed veliké zahrady plné olivovníků, palem a borovic. Pokoje a kuchyňka jsou sice malé, ale obývací pokoj pro nás 6 byl dostačující. Velké plus jsou 2 koupelny. Možnost bezpečného parkování na pozemku přímo před domem. Využili jsme bazén i gril s venkovním posezením. Milá majitelka, která okamžitě vše zařídila (voda není pitná a v neděli jsou obchody zavřené, tak nám dovezla pitnou vodu, zařídila zapojení bojleru, když nebyla teplá voda z důvodu špatného počasí atd). Opravdu jsme tu strávili příjemný květnový týden. V nedaleké vesnici Andrano se dá pohodlně nakoupit a zajít na jídlo.

Wonderful host, very helpful and friendly. Great villa for longer stay, ideal for families, friends also coming with the dog. Swimming pool with crystal celar water and nice sunbeds. Everything you need is here. Need to have in mind that it’s located away from touristic higlights like Bari, Lecce etc.
