We chose the cottage as its near to the Zoo and we were attending a wedding there. The cottage was in a great spot for the Zoo and shops, there's also a bus stop nearby if you don't want to drive The kitchen has a good selection of pans, utensils etc. The Greggs round the corner does the best bacon barm cake. We also ate at the Wheatsheaf and were really impressed with the food there. Overall the cottage has a lovely feeling to it and its a great place to relax and unwind
If we visit Chester again we would definitely book the Fir Tree
The towels could be a bit softer.

Location, close to Chester Zoo. Stayed cool in high temperatures. Big enough for a family of 4.

The fresh flowers were nice and a lovely fruit cake was nice, the facilities were good as i had to use the washing machine
