House was spacious and clean and provided an excellent base for us to get into the centre of Chester
The house was tired, stairs need replacing, front door lock was difficult to use, beds were uncomfortable

Closeness of house to city centre. Quiet location.
The property seemed a little 'tired' Could do with some TLC. Loo did not flush properly in the bathroom, although a sign did say as much & apologised. The kitchen tap was loose. Some light bulbs were not working. There were cobwebs. Minor note - matching coat hangers would look better than mismatched ones.

Great location and we had a lovely break.
Great location - within walking distance of Chester. Good communication with Charlotte about arrival and access to keys. Enough space and plenty of kitchen equipment which all worked well. Plenty of hot water and shower worked fine. Linen was clean and fresh and the beds were comfortable enough. There was a pint of milk in the fridge for us on arrival, and tea and coffee which was great.
The house was supposed to be no smoking but one of the bedrooms smelled strongly of stale smoke so we had to leave the windows open while we were in. Cleaning needed more attention to detail - en-suite had shaver hairs around the tap and the window frame had a lot of mould on it. Main bathroom toilet didn’t flush at all despite a note left on it to say you had to pump it a few times. We had to fill a bucket every time to remove contents. The settee and chair were really low to the ground and not particularly comfortable.

Great place to stay in a great location.
Good location, easy walk into Chester city centre. The house was great for what we wanted, a comfortable base for our family get together for a weekend. Great communication from our hostess Charlotte.
This is nitpicking but the pillows were uncomfortable. Everything else was great.
