There was a key inside the box so we were independent on when arriving.
Once inside the apartment, everything was clean. The communication with the property was via WhatsApp. They answered super fast and were really helpful.
The area around the location was livable with nice restaurants.

The staff were nice. It was clean and quiet. Rome is expensive, so for what we paid it was fine as a base 👍
Recommend Taverna Italiana, about 10 min walk away. The cheesy gnocchi is the best gnocchi I have ever tasted, (be prepared to share), and Gelato San Lorenzo on the walk home is a perfect end.
If you have the gumption, hire e-scooters and ride them in the early early hours - it is the best way to see Rome 💖
It was literally one room, (with separate bathroom), which I didn't realize initially when we booked - my bad, but teenage daughter mortified!
The area isn't the best, but neither is it the worst.
We did have a couple of negative experiences with people in Rome, but NOT THE STAFF at Dalmati! We went on to Naples, which we loved. Sorry, we are definitely Team Naples, and dare I say it, we had better carbonara there🙈
