It was a good place to stay, value for money

The studio apartment itself was very nice and lovely but I did not like the environment so much .

Smell of weed , I.e marijuana in the corridor , which is not be the fault of the host as there are other private tenants living in the other studios, that was a major turn off for me .

Nothing about room1. Parking is good. Wifi is fine.

I had been let down by another provider and so had to find an alternative quickly and booked 190 Deighton Road again. I carefully selected studio/ room 15, which I had stayed in the previous week and felt that I could tolerate again. All communication stated studio 15 as it had the previous week. On the day of arrival my check in details still stated studio 15 at the top of the message but then changed to room 1 lower down. Room 1 is not satisfactory and I would never have booked this room. I feel that I was deliberately mislead about my booking and not told that I was in room 1 until it was too late for me to cancel. Room 1 is right next to the front door and was very noisy as a result. There was too much road noise and light from the street. The bed was very soft and the pillows did not smell clean. I slept very badly as a result.

A good value stay

The studio was clean and comfortable. All the basics were provided in the kitchen. It was great to have parking. It was nice and quiet overnight. The WiFi was good.

There is a lamp post right outside the window and the blind did not keep the room dark enough.

The location is excellent for me anyway but for anyone wanting to see the area of Huddersfield Bradford or Leeds etc its a great place 😀

Perfect for what I needed.

Easy access, clean, well laid out and had everything needed.

Bed was too soft but that’s preference. Could do with a firmer mattress.

False information, lies and deceit.

Location is fantastic the building looked nice.

Firstly they gave me different room from what I booked from booking.com, I booked room 15 on booking.com and was allocated room 21, I complained about this but they said someone is room 15 already. That's a misinformation or false. Getting to the room 21 it was an attic room with trap windows that only be open slightly, very hot no fan no air conditioner.. I complain but they can't do nothing about it. I believe booking.com have to do something about this, people always use booking.com because of the reliability and professionalism you display. There was a trap of tiles under toilet door that almost tripped me down.

The property we actually booked was nice, however we only got to stay there for one night instead of two nights. First night we were told that we had to stay elsewhere due to booking problem.

First nights property was in an awful area. Looked like a crudely adapted front room of a house. Did not feel safe even though it was a nightmare trying to get into the property. We booked and paid for an entire apartment yet were put into a room with en-suite in someones house.

It was okay. Clean, comfortable and fairly well equipped.

There were no staff to talk to except by text so it took a while to get hold of the entry code. Also we were woken up on the first night by someone entering our room at midnight. Obviously the room code hadn’t been changed. It didn’t feel very secure and it completely unnerved us for the second night. We were assured it wouldn’t happen again (and it didn’t) but our room code wasn’t changed as we would have expected given that someone else obviously knew it.

Shower was burning hot and temperature could not be adjusted, beddings were worn and did not seem clean as a result, room and bathroom were not well ventilated. Overall, we did not feel it was good value for money unfortunately
