Taj Swarna, Amritsar

Well the overall experience is always good as I do often stay with TAJ GROUP, All the best TAJ GROUP TEAM.

I do miss those small Body wash and Hair cleanser bottles which I always request some extra from housekeeping.

This is a beautiful and well maintained hotel. You really feel the difference between the hustle, bustle & chaos of the streets and the serene, calm and relaxed atmosphere of the hotel complex. But the Taj’s secret is their people and just how much they care about ensuring that their guests are made to feel welcome and, dare I say, loved. Our chef Ajay was just one example of a team member that went above and beyond any reasonable expectation you could have of what a person would do to ensure that the food was fantastic and that we served in a timely and efficient manner. He's just one person and everyone at the Taj is like this. This is a place that has people that believe that every issue is just a solution away. Hat’s off these guys. I'll make sure I visit you again, as soon as I can.

Our previously allocated room wasn't great, window view was restricted with adjacent Trillium building. We requested to change the room. Thankfully our request was accepted as a room was available.

Very expensive Taxi service arranged. However, we used Uber which was easily available and very reasonable and can pick you up right from inside the hotel.

Stayed there only due to Brand standards

Location isn’t great. Staff is not pro active at all. Lot of issues which can be resolved but boone took initiative.
