Le Chapeau Rouge - Centre Historique - Corum - Tramway - Climatisation

Compact and well organised flat in a good location for the old town of Montpellier. The instructions for getting into the property, how things work, parking, etc were excellent.

A lovely, and very good value apartment in a quiet street. Le Chapeau Rouge is really well located at the northern side of Montpellier’s beautiful historic/old town, just footsteps from plenty of bars and restaurants, but also adjacent the Beaux Arts area which we found on a couple of evenings whilst here to be a nice relaxed alternative to the old centre. The apartment is small/quite compact but the design is really well thought out, making it a very charming and comfy place. If you have poor/restricted mobility, the stairs up to the apartment with a suitcase are a little tight, and the bed - a very comfortable one for us - is set quite low. The kitchen is well equipped and again ergonomically designed for a compact space. The property owner/manager was quickly there/available for us, and was responsive and friendly when we briefly needed some advice. In summary we loved our stay at Le Chapeau Rouge, and in this beautiful and friendly city, and we would certainly recommend it. Thank you :)

Good Location

When neighbours were active, sometimes in the early hours, it sounded like they were in the appartment, but this didn't last long.

Great location, compact apartment, clean, well equipped although we only had 1 towel each no hand towels. Car park close by at the Corum was good.

Had everything except a bathroom! we might not have read the description carefully enough but the shower was at the foot of the bed. Bedroom was also very dark (in February) even with the light on, dark bed linen didn’t help. And a 10 character code to open and lock the door is a pain - 4 would do the job.
