Azatis Luxury Villa in Chania is a luxurious retreat in Crete that combines elegance, comfort, and the pleasures of high-quality living. The villa spans an impressive 360 square meters and features seven elegantly designed bedrooms, each equipped with queen-size beds that can be converted into two single beds for flexibility. Seven ensuite modern bathrooms complement the accommodation, along with a spacious living room fitted with a 65-inch satellite TV, a contemporary indoor dining room, and two fully equipped kitchens.
Outside, the villas 60 square meter heated pool, complete with an outdoor jacuzzi, adjacent barbecue facilities, a large dining area, and comfortable sitting spaces, creates a perfect atmosphere for relaxation and entertainment. Surrounded by expansive gardens filled with olive and fruit trees, Azatis Luxury Villa exudes a sense of tranquility and privacy. Built originally by Theodoros Raissakis as a haven for family moments and celebrations, the villa has been lovingly renovated into a modern yet cozy environment where guests can unwind and feel truly at home. Anyone can see from the photos in the description that this in an amazingly spacious villa. What is not included is all the subtle little extras that make this place undeniably paradise. This is not a cheap choice, we saved long and hard for this and it was worth every penny - for 18 glorious days we felt like royalty.The welcome basket was overwhelming - homemade pastries, water, wine, honey, jams, cheese etc. The villa was absolutely immaculate. The gardens lined with olive, orange and other fruit trees as well as the grape vine extended way beyond where the photos suggest. Every bedroom has its own bathroom with fresh towels and toiletries replaced every 4 days. Each bedroom also has its own external door to a balcony or patio and it's own air conditioning, which was very effective. Every door in the villa is fitted with shutters, a glass door, a mosquito net and there are blinds and curtains in the bedrooms. This is a small thing but meant that whatever the time of day you have the light/view you wanted.The outside space meant we could cook (outside kitchen with fridge, sink, gas bbq), sit (outside lounge with very comfortable sofas in semi-shade) dine (12 seater table) swim (amazing infinity pool with sun loungers) and relax with a drink watching the sunrise/sunset. There was always a seating solution where you needed it.I was devastated to leave this place, a true testament to how much we enjoyed our holiday here. I do hope one day to return.

We had a wonderful stay at Azatis Villa. The outside space is amazing. The pool is big and very clean. The sun beds were very comfortable and the umbrellas provided much needed shade. There are a number of areas to sit and relax and the dinning table was large and easily accommodated 8 persons. We used the outdoor kitchen throughout our stay. The bathrooms were clean with great showers and an abundance of hot water. The beds are very comfortable.The ladies who cleaned the Villa did an excellent job.The pool towels were large and replaced 3 times. There is an excellent taverna in Daratsos, but we found we needed a vehicle to go to other restaurants and the beach. The only negative was the air conditioning, which couldn’t be controlled in individual bedrooms and wasn’t as cold as we would have liked. This wasn’t a problem most of the time but the bedrooms became quite warm when hairdryers were switched on. I would highly recommend this villa if you are looking to relax in a beautiful environment.
