About this apartment rental
Beautiful, quiet vacation rental in an idyllic location by the stream.
Our renovated vacation rental is just a 5-minute walk from the village center.
There’s also a small village store there that offers just about everything you need—fresh rolls, sausage, and cheese for breakfast, as well as fresh fruits and vegetables. You can also buy drinks and ice cream there.
There are also three restaurants in the village center, including a pizzeria.
Surrounded by meadows and mountains, you can enjoy the peace and quiet or get active in nature. Whether hiking, mountaineering, mountain biking, or cycling—there’s plenty to do here.
The beautiful Walchensee is just 5 minutes away and is perfect for swimming, diving, or snorkeling.
In winter, we offer a variety of sporting activities. We have a cross-country ski trail approximately 30 km long—suitable for both classic and skating styles—that winds through our beautiful countryside. You can access the trail right from our garden fence.
We also have a small ski lift here that’s very family-friendly and affordable. For advanced skiers, the Brauneck ski area—just 15 km away—is the perfect choice. There’s even a free bus service that takes you there.

We came back for our second stay in this beautifully located appartment. The owners are super friendly and the apartment has all you need and lays in a beautiful peaceful valley. We went skeeing in 3 different great ski areas and we went hiking on one of the many beautiful tracks which start in the village Jachenau. And we went to see the beautiful Walchensee and also went on the Herzogstandbahn and made a beautiful hike there with an amazing view.I can defenitely recommend this place.

Very nice clean apartment, with everything you need and friendly owners. Beautifully situated in a valley, wonderfully quiet in beautiful surroundings. We would love to come back.
