About this villa rental
My place is ideal for families and friends. You’ll love it because of the awesome living room and indoor spaces, the big windows, the high ceilings, the huge garden and terrace plenty of space for everyone. The location is ideal for driving as well as no-car travellers, it is near the railway station and with easy access to other public transport to and from the historic city centre. City centre can also be reached on foot.
Spacious family friendly accommodation with 3 double bedrooms (sleeping 6 adults), 2 bathrooms, spacious living and dining rooms, and a home office area for working/playing. Kitchen is completely equipped and includes microwave and dishwasher. Fine dining plate sets and wine glasses are provided together with dedicated children's tableware. Washing machine and ironing table are available in the laundry room. Kids cot beds and highchairs are available on request.
The Villa is plenty of outdoor space, with amazing private garden including an outdoor dining space with wooden furniture, outside stone BBQ (real wood provided), and outdoor playing area for kids and teens with swing, hammock and basketball hoop. Wi-Fi connection provided for multiple devices. Toys, books and DVDs are also available.
The Villa is located at a walking distance from the main railway station (ca. 2 km) and from Porta Camollia and the historic city centre (ca. 2.5 km). Bus services are also available for different part of Siena as well as from and to Florence, Rome, Bologna and other main Italian cities. Its location makes a perfect place for both drivers (private parking and gate) and non-drivers.

This Sienna home provides amazing high-end accommodations for a small family that enjoys quality. The photos do not do it justice. The villa could be featured in Architectural Digest, with top of the line kitchen appliances, high quality tile work in both large bathrooms, comfortable furnishings and quality antiques. and large windows with high sloped ceilings in great room. My family of four adults very much enjoyed our stay in this private villa in a gated estate.
Several caveates--you need a car and navigation system to truly enjoy the villa and the surrounding areas. It is at least a 45 minute walk to the old city of Siena, and it is easy to get lost. Parking mid-day was impossible near the old city. There is public bus nearby if you know enough Italian to navigate the system.
Also, the two twin beds int the third (children's) bedroom are short and my 6 foot plus sons did not fit in the beds. They would be great for younger children for whom they are intended.
We ate at the nearby "Jolly" restaurant and had a great meal at a reasonable cost. We highly recommend it.
This is a great comfortable luxury base for exploring Siena and Tuscany. I only wish we had had more time on our busy trip to stay longer.

After staying in hotels in Rome and Florence, out thought was to find a villa for the 3rd leg of our Italian vacation. To space out a bit and have room for the 4 of us in a home-away-from-home property. This home was extraordinary, meticulously maintained, and certainly as advertised. Many thanks to the owner and his parents who live in the adjoining property and were very helpful. We dined in one night and had all the housewares we needed to have a delightful meal. A small store is nearby for breakfast, coffee, etc. The bus to Siena is also a short walk. Our only regret was that we did not book for a longer stay!

Huset er store, fine rom med stor takhøyde. Nydelig stor stue, praktisk kjøkken, ligger stille til. Kort vei til hyggelig bar og til baker. En hyggelig spasertur fra byen hvis været er godt. Ellers god bussforbindelse. Ligger også like ved Via Francigena-ruten. En fin tur nordover i et flott landskap.

Perfect for a family getaway and R&R in Tuscany. Roberto's house is beautiful and immaculate! The pictures don't do it justice. Wish we could stay longer to enjoy the house and its amenities. This was our first trip to Italy and we made most of our one and half day exploring the hill towns including Siena. Roberto's mom checked us in and out and even though we could hardly communicate (Google Translate was a big help) she made us feel welcome. Roberto was very responsive to all our questions and based on his recommendations, we decided to rent a car from Florence for the trip to Tuscany and it was the right choice. We were able to visit San Gimignano, Monterrigioni and Pienza during our stay. Other than the cold and wet weather, our stay in Siena was a delightful one and having a nice place to stay was simply icing on the cake. Highly recommended!
