Altea Old Town Paraiso

Location was fantastic - short stroll to the old town, supermarket etc. First floor terrace was large with a great awning for shade. Very comfortable and roomy home with excellent ceiling fans - really don't need a/c. Kitchen has dishwasher, large fridge freezer and washing machine. Living room very comfortable and large. Bedrooms comfortable and quiet at night.

Overall it was great. If I was going to mention anything it would be that the chairs on the terrace are not comfortable for sitting on. We brought the large chairs from the garden in to sit on and read etc. They are heavy though to move. We spent most of our time outside so would have struggled without the alternative. Loungers broken so couldn't take to the pool which was a shame.

The location was great for the old town and a 10 minute walk to the beach. The apartment was spacious with lovely views and two seated outside areas. The attic room was nice.

The property was generally good but in need of a refresh. There was a lack of sockets and mirrors in the bedrooms. Also there were no sunbeds for the pool area. There were three chairs but one was broken. There is no aircon which wasn't a problem for us as there were plenty of fans.

Great location- very close to the square and walking distance to the beach. Lovely pool and gardens.

We had to be very careful with our toddler and all the tiled stairs. Some baby gates, hand rails etc would have made it a bit easier.

Fantastic communication with Clare throughout. Wonderful apartment, well equipped with everything you may need, lovely stroll to both the old town and the beach. Supermarket two minutes walk. Altea has some fab boutiques and little shops to explore. The front terrace is so comfortable and private.
