Romantic Bijou

This is a beautiful house on Lake Lugano. It really is in a beautiful location just on the outskirts of the city but very easy to get to the centre either by walking or a short bus ride- we walked in to town but got the bus back as it is uphill!! The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you need with a beautiful terrace for relaxing and dining with lake views. The fab San Domenico lido is only a short walk and we swam here every late afternoon as it was so hot on our visit. The olive trail walk is a must to do and Gandria is a beautiful spot- do not miss wonderful cafe La Bottega di Gandria- fab lunch and the pottery shop also really lovely. Lake Lugana is truly beautiful and we enjoyed every minute of our stay here in this gorgeous house!

Beautiful apartment with amazing views of the lake! Its location at the start of the Olive Trail to Gandria and convenient access to Lugano (by a quick bus ride or a 20min walk) was great. The apartment was large, super clean and comfortably decorated. It had large windows and several balconies from which to enjoy the views and your morning coffee/breakfast. Having access to a washing machine was also very helpful. The host was also very responsive both before and during our stay. Highly recommend this apartment!
