Hostmate - Milano - Corso di Porta Ticinese

The flat was quiet. It was comfort and well equipped. It was a good location - shops , restaurants outside. Less than 5 minutes from Underground to the airport. Navigli, Duomo area, museums all within 15-20 minutes walk.

Main concern was the door entry. We had problems and was eventually let in by someone. Second time, it worked better but we had to help others who had similar problems. Worth having a look at. A few other small things such as a kettle which switches off, a blind in the door to block out the light from the corridor at night, a fitted sheet on the mattress and a less squeaky bed. Plug in bathroom sink was unreliable. Finally, a tea towel and cloth in the kitchen. All these things are minor and didn’t detract from our enjoyment of the flat.

It was comfortable, quiet and well resourced. Location was very good. Less than 5 minutes to Vetra Metro which goes to the airport. Shops and eating places are all very close. Easy walk to Navigli and the Duomo - 15-20 minutes. We are staying again.

We had a problem getting in because our phone wasn’t working and only got in because someone came out. Could do with a cloth and tea towel in the kitchen.

Fully stocked apartment within walking distance to all the major core attractions. Clean. Good kitchen and TV with many channels

Water pressure in the shower was weak and if you were the 2nd person in there was warm water. Mattress was good for a few nights but a longer stay would warrant something better
