    KL was recommended by a long term expat resident who lived in CDO. Upon arriving to be greeted by a couple of smiling staff members, we were quickly checked in and settled into our room, which a good size, clean and cool. The bathroom was more than adequate and was presented in pristine order. The bar/restaurant is open air and the food is sensational , well priced and just what we needed. The team that Danny the owner has assembled are fantastic and they obviously have a passion for the place as it became apparent that most have been employed there for many years. Take the time to spend a couple of days there and you will be more than pleasantly surprised by the wonderful experience you are party to.

    Does not provide the basics, like a couple of bottles of drinking water in the room (expect you to buy them from the bar). Water is standard for most Philippine hotels, given you cannot drink the water. Wifi connection/speed was below average. Very cheap amenity kit with some soap and toothbrush provided but no shampoo etc. The room was several feet from a pool with kids (yelling) in it for hours on the day I arrived. For a "Deluxe" room, it's a poor offering. Better deals/value and hotels to be had elsewhere, i.e. Red Planet, which are $1,000 pesos cheaper and provide better basics. Not much around the area. Seems to be a hangout for expats drowning their sorrows at the bar...
