The space is vast and has many activities to enjoy but definitely disappointed with the room we picked. It was my son who chose it for his dad's birthday. It was not as promised in the picture. The piping of the air-conditioning very visible in the open and not neatly done. It's more of a bunker house than a hobbit house.

There is just something so special about the vibe at Amaya View that keeps me coming back. My favorite part is definitely that "top of the world" feeling you get while standing on the deck; it’s the best place in the city to just clear your head and enjoy the silence. I’m always impressed by how they’ve managed to fit so much variety into one spot—I can go from a fun, quirky walk through Noah’s Ark to a sophisticated dinner with a view that looks like a postcard. It’s the kind of place where I take all my out-of-town friends because I know they’ll be floored by the scenery. Honestly, even if you just go for a quick coffee to catch the sunset, the atmosphere alone makes it feel like a luxury retreat.

I booked this hotel two weeks in advance, so I was really disappointed to receive a message just one day before my stay saying that my reserved room was no longer available due to repairs and that I should move my booking to another date.
I had already planned everything around my trip, so adjusting wasn’t an option. I still went as scheduled, and upon arrival, I was offered a different room (a standard villa), which I accepted just to avoid further hassle.
However, it was quite frustrating to later find out that the hotel had accepted a large group booking, which seemed to have affected room availability even though I had booked earlier. This made me feel like earlier reservations were not properly prioritized.
I also noticed that while some of the staff were accommodating, others were not very approachable and came across as a bit unfriendly, which added to the overall disappointing experience.
While I appreciate that they still tried to accommodate me upon arrival, the last-minute change and lack of proper reservation management caused unnecessary stress. I hope the management can improve how they handle bookings and customer service to avoid this kind of situation in the future.
