Adequate

Location was excellent as we could walk to any part of Seahouses within 5 mins. The cottage was well equipped and cleaned to a minimum standard

The bathroom smelt really bad for the 1st couple of days, it was as though nobody had been in there over the winter and the water had not been run off long enough to freshen drains. The bedding does not fit the beds adequately and kept slipping off, there are no mattress protectors and only half of the pillows had protectors on them, the heating is inadequate for this time of year and the furniture is very shabby, if we had not had the dog with us we would have been very upset over the condition of the place, but having the dog with us meant we did not have to worry so much, we actually felt we left the place cleaner than it was when we arrived

Spacious cottage in a quiet corner of Seahouses, yet very close to amenities the harbour and shopsr,

The location is perfect - a quiet corner but still very close to all amenities. Having a parking space was great too. The cottage was nice and spacious and very well equipped, especially the kitchen. It was very clean and the hosts were friendly.

The only thing that would make it better would be an upgrade of new bedding and towels. All very clean but a little tired and worn.

Lovely Little Get Away

Cottage is set in a lovely location very close to the main town centre and main beach Cottage was clean and surprisingly spacious with everything you would need for a pleasant stay

Spacious, cosy, peaceful.

The spacious layout and cosy feel. The well-equipped kitchen. The lovely coal-effect fire in the lounge.

The lack of privacy downstairs. As a solo female guest, I felt rather exposed, as the large windows allow a full view into the lounge from both the courtyard and the neighbouring cottage (whose kitchen window is very close.) The glass panels on either side of the front door also made me feel the same. Perhaps some vertical blinds that can be angled, should guests choose, and frosted glass or blinds by the door can be considered?

Great location, comfortable house with all mod cons

Excellent location, 2 mins walk to the harbour. Lovely courtyard with parking.
