White Crystal Apartments

The apartment was on the second floor and the view would be great on sunny days. The location is above Hotham Central which is great for ski school, ski lifts and bus, etc. The units has a double bed in master bedroom, a bunk bed with a double bed base in second plus two other bunk beds inn third bedroom. Dining table seats 8. Plenty of room for 5.

There is no elevator so there are four flights of stairs to the second floor and another one down to the ski lockers. The blinds on our unit were motorised but had broken clips and strings so were hard to open/close. The windows are not fully sealed so whenever there is a high wind (most of the time while there) there is a constant whistle from the windows and snow inside the lounge windows, There is a big carpet stain from the window. As the windows are old and not sealed, there is also a lot of noise overnight from the snow plows, grooming equipment, tracked vehicles, etc which are organized from the building opposite. The kitchen equipment especially frying pans were poorly kept - they were 5 frying pans but only 2 were usable. The showers were poor with a little spray radius, not sure if was the shower head in our unit or water pressure in the building. It would be useful to have place mats for the table.

The location was excellent. 10 out of ten The unit was very spacious and had a great view.

I felt that for an apartment the kitchen equipment was below standard. There was no cutting board. Poor selection of cooking equipment There was an oven tray but was too large to fit into the oven. The oven control panel had faded and was hard to read. The extraction fan was inefficient and the oven seal was broken. One of the kitchen downlights needed replacement. The downstairs shower nozzle was not working properly

There is spa and stick saying it has been Flushing cleaned for hygiene and safety. We tried to use spa but it has been confirmed it hasn’t been cleaned. Main reason I booked this accommodation is after hard day of skiing we desperately need to use spa to relax. Since we could not trust hygiene level we never used spa. So disappointed and I won’t come back here again
