The long sandy beaches of Argeles and Canet are 30 minutes drive away, or you can reach the coves and beaches of the Spanish Costa Brava in less than an hour. Ceret is only 15 minutes drive away from the Spanish border and there is a strong Catalan influence in the architecture and food. The Saturday morning food market is a delight.
