Loves the beautiful location, at the top of a hill and surrounded by nature, lovely pool and a fabulous Osteria and tour of the winery

This location is a special retreat for special events and getaways, a gem!

The staff were very caring and available. In fact, the tour of our rooms, helped us feel "at home". The information about the local shopping for food and information given was helpful. The outdoor spaces were clean pathways and private terraces, the vegetable garden was carefully tended and respected. We sampled and bought the local olive oil! The dinner Osteria was staffed by wonderful family. Our dog was welcome. The food was bio and fresh and healthy. The pool and grounds where clean and well groomed. We hope to return to this special "retreat" as it is affordable and nearby the city of ceramics! Best find! We are grateful!

Excellent accommodation. Has everything for an independent stay. Vanesa and Gulija are extremely kind. Surrounded by olive groves. Fantastic view of the city. Excellent internet. All in all, highly recommended.

The location is beautiful and very scenic. The rooms were nice.

We were told in the email that there would be a restaurant open on site. This was not the case and we had to walk several miles to the village to find something to eat. I have an issue with my leg and this was a major inconvenience for me. Taxis to and from the town were thirty euros and we ended spe ding a lot of money just to get something to eat. The lady at reception did offer to prepare us some cheese and prosciutto but we had been travelling all day and needed a proper meal. Also we had to wait an hour and a half from the time we got there to check in so by the time we found out there was no food available it was getting dark out.

Great location just outside of town. Short trip to the train station where you’re able to catch a train into Florence for sightseeing. Restaurant on property has decent food, with a very friendly staff. Apartments are roomie and clean and kitchen was set up nice for cooking.

mattresses were a bit thin and hard. Also the pillows were not very comfortable. Both need to be upgraded. Other than that everything was perfect.

Two sun beds are allocated/ reserved per apartment, we are a family of four and told that we were not allowed to use four beds - is it expected for the kids to sit on the boiling hot pool terrace? Some smoke from the boiler/ burner chimney entered into the room at night

Tuscan hill views with amazing pool

The setting, the views and the pool was amazing

The room had a wonderful view but was quote rustic/baisc. we appreciate this is the style of the country style hotel but as it was very hot in August we found the lack of air conditioning uncomfortable at night. there were no lamps to make the lighting cosy. the inside decor needs a little TLC

We enjoyed this quiet place on top of the hill among olive trees!

The location was gorgeous, peaceful, quiet, far away from the main roads and a stunning view (you need a car to get there). The apartment was alright, spacious for all of us. Pool was great. We had a great time.

the mosquitos - though there were flyscreens at every window. We didn't take any citronella with us and unfortunately the door was not shut by our kids which allowed the mozzies in.

Beatiful stay and incredible experience

Incredible surroundings, lovely staff, awesome pool area and neat hotel rooms! Highly recommend visiting the next door restaurant (osteria), with both great food, wine and personnel!

The locality isn’t super convenient when you don’t have a car since it isn’t that easy to grab a taxi, and when your able to get one my experience is that it was overpriced for such a short distance. Walking from the hotel to ,for example, the train station is all downhill and with beautiful surroundings.

The accommodation was good - we didn't need all the space or the kitchen but both would have been fantastic if there had been more of us and were there for a longer stay. The real star was the wine and the food - the meal in the restaurant was tip top - excellent. Lovely staff and owners.

Good place for relaxation

Overall experience was good. Surroundings and views are really nice, every apartment has its own entrance and dedicated place outside. Also there is full blown kitchen for longer stays, it seemed to have everything necessary. Food at restraunt was really nice and local wines are on offer. Breakfast was rich. Hostess does everything to make you feel comfortable..

In the mountains above Montelupo, surrounded by wine and olive trees. About 10 apartments with outdoor table areas. Common swimming pool. Relaxing atmosphere. Friendly reception personnel. Associated restaurant nearby.

The only pitfall when traveling by bike is that the last 2 km are rather steep ;-)
