トランクの鍵を紛失したので一旦荷物を預けてチェックアウトした。学会が終わりフロントの女性に尋ねたら見つからなかったとのことだった。念のため可能ならもう一度自分で部屋を探してみたい旨を伝えたら丁寧にも一緒に部屋まできて探してくれた。朝のフロントは紛失した旨を伝えたら煩わしそうな応答だったので職員によって質のさがあると感じた。この女性の対応でホテルの印象が一気に良くなった。
朝食時、朝一番で食堂に行ったら、料理長がオーダーに対応しきれないとの理由で、まだ席が十分あるにも関わらず、私の手前で入室をとめた。私の後ろには人がいなく、料理も十分品数が用意されていたのでオーダーを特別にしなければさっと食べて学会のモーニングセミナーに間に合ったはず。非常にに不愉快だった。ビジネスホテルなので、さっさと食事を済ませて仕事に移りたい人間のためのホテルであるとの意識を欠いた対応だと思った。
