Hostal Zafiro Mindo

Perfect location, overlooking the river, facilities were great, quite spacious and comfortable. The staff were helpful, though communication for non-Spanish speakers was not easy, but workable. Very helpful in helping with tours, attractions and transport.

Street noise on one side and rushing river on the other could be a little intrusive, but OK. The breakfast was presented as a set menu, which was way too big for us. Make sure you let them know what you want, before it gets cooked.

The staff were very friendly and helpful booking tours. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious. Our room has a balcony overlooking the stream; it was pleasant and comfortable. The bathroom was large and the shower had excellent regulated hot water (no hot/cold surges). We really enjoyed our visit and will come back.

Sehr gutes Bett, schöne weiche Wäsche, gute Matratze. Sehr sauber. Sehr freundliches Personal an der Rezeption. Sehr hilfsbereit.

Es war sehr hellhörig im 1.OG. Im zweiten OG gibt es einen offenen Fernsehraum, von dem aus es in die ganze Etage schallt. Man hört die Schritte aus dem 2. OG extrem. Morgens um ca. 06:30 Uhr fahren die Quadtour- Anbieter aus dem Ort mit ihren Quads durch den Ort, was extrem laut zu hören ist, da das Hotel direkt an der Straße liegt. Der angrenzende Fluss ist auch sehr laut zu hören, was mich aber nicht gestört hat. Kleinigkeiten: es gab keine Steckdose für die Nachttischlampe, sodass die Lampe nur als „Deko“ auf dem Nachttisch stand. An einem Abend gab es kein heißes Wasser.
