Sky Cabin. Cosy Forest Log Cabin 3 night minimum

The cabin was well appointed, with comfortable bed and all kitchen and crockery items. In front was a private lawn with table and chairs, lovely for outdoor eating (we didn’t try the hot tub as the weather was quite hot enough!). Beyond that, and the view from the patio, was field and forest.

A minor point, but although secluded it is very close (at the back) to others’ livings.

Perfect blend of modern and cosy! Gave the atmosphere of a quiet forest retreat while still being able to sleep comfortably and cook easily. We bought our dog along for the stay, and the gated garden and easy access to stunning woodland walks was perfect for her. The rustic wooden hot tub was lovely in the afternoons and we even enjoyed a booked session at the forest sauna which sits close by. The owner was incredibly helpful via message and the property manager Alan was a delight to meet. The nearby town and local sights are easily accessible by car. We really enjoyed an evening pint and takeaway pizza from the pub just a 5 min walk away. Overall an amazing stay, can’t recommend it enough!

A few moths in the bathroom and bugs in the hot in but nothing we couldn’t get rid of quickly and is to be expected in the countryside.

Perfect for a nice relaxing break

as described - a cosy wooden building in the middle of a forest. no phone signal - great for getting away from it all.
