Appartement Saint Claude - Centre Port

Die Gastgeberin hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben und Restaurant Empfehlungen gegeben, die sehr gut waren. Gut war auch die Tiefgarage privat für das Fahrzeug. Die Lage des appartements ist hervorragend, sehr kurze Wege zum Zentrum / Altstadt.?

Es gab keinen airconditioner, aber einen funktionsfähigen Ventilator.

Petit appartement fonctionnel et agréable, il est bien situé, un parking couvert et gratuit se trouve à 4 minutes à pied. La propriétaire est très agréable et serviable. On trouve tout le nécessaire dans l'appartement, café, gel douche, savon pour les mains, produit vaisselle, serviettes et draps évidemment. Bouteilles d'eau offertes à l'arrivée. Les toilettes sont séparés de la salle de bain. C'était très calme.

Pour 3 personnes une fois le canapé-lit du séjour déplié, il n'y a pas beaucoup de place dans la pièce principale, on ne peut déjeuner qu'à deux sur la petite table. Nous y étions en hiver avec des températures extérieures glaciales, de ce fait nous avons eu un peu froid dans l'appartement la première nuit.

Location is great for exploring La Rochelle old town.

Communication was not great. On arrival it wasn’t clear we could only enter the apartment after meeting the contact person at the parking garage which was a different location. The contact person, although very nice and friendly, did not speak English or txt with us and my French is poor. This was made worst by the host not being contactable on our arrival day. On leaving we found out that the expected departure time was 10am only when we contacted the local contact to agree key handover of keys. Overall if we had spoken French none of this would have been a major issue so suggest if you stay here and you don’t speak French be very proactive in contacting the host in advance to ensure all check in and check out information is clear in advance.
