Wonderful stay at l'Oursin, would recommend to anyone and would love to return!

The location of l'Oursin Hotel is IDEAL for exploring Saint Jean Cap Ferrat. Hotel l'Oursin was very comfortable, convenient and the managers were very accommodating! It is a short walk to the iconic Plage Paloma, and the stunning Fossettes Beach and Plage de la Fosse. Also only 20 min walk to see the beautiful Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild. The hotel is directly across from the marina and another lovely beach Plage Cros Dei Pin which has calm waters and palm tree shade. The hotel is on the main strip of restaurants, all highly rated and delicious. If you are trying to save $ or have a beach picnic, I highly recommend Les Delices de Marius for grab & go sandwiches (and a little sweet baked treat).

I had trouble with the wifi, but I was so busy exploring I didn't have time to contact management. Nothing negative to say about this place!

Comfortable, easy, lovely, relaxing and friendly.

I had a perfect stay. The owners were so kind and lovely, super responsive, let me check in early, leave my luggage early and also looked after it the day i checked out. I had a response to anything within minutes. And that's just the start. The location is amazing, right on the port, walkable distance to all beach clubs. Beautiful bakery and restaurants on your doorstep, as well as a beach. An my room was super clean, light, airy and big. I cannot fault anything. Thank you Aubrey. It's the kind of place that you tell your friends about. I will certainly be back.

Room allocation - It was pretty noisy seems to be a bar next to it that is open pretty late along with parking outside for motor bikes. It would be a good idea to add water to the room for guests

Superb

Perfect location and such value for money. Very quaint and lovely owner. Right in the middle of everything with easy walking to spectacular beaches. I was a little worried about parking but it’s free from 8pm-8am and there is actually plenty of parking all around.

Awesome, perfect, warm, grateful

such a great location which is very nearby beach. And cosy but fully enough space to stay for several nights. but mostly, the host is literally warm and supportive for everything. I’ve never seen this kind of host in my life. I was really impressed by his kindness. I was so lucky to find this hotel with such a reasonable price with warm welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone else who has plan to visit Nice.

very nice antique hotel in the centre on Saint Jean. So nice owners and big thanks for help in every question! I am photographer and for me was important to translate fantastic atmosphere of this house.

Some of furniture was too old, exactly it added charm. But not every costumer may like it.

One night stay in a multi day Bicycle trip.

Hotel L'Oursin, we can start with the best question : is this a hotel or an Artistic Paradise ? :-) From the moment you check in you enter a different world : beautiful, blissful, authentic. This house deserves respect, and a moment of enjoyment, to walk out in this reverberation and to include the environment. Beautiful place. Delicious breakfast in a unique setting, very tasty coffee, you actually dream further away. Close to everything: drinking and dining, beach-harbour, literally in the middle of everything, with something for everyone.

There were a few very minor detail technical defects in the bathroom, nothing bad, really nothing bad, and certainly not to worry about, had I stayed longer and or had I had more time : I would have gladly put this one back into its own in a few minutes. So, no comment, certainly no negative for the beautiful place that it is. Like told, this house deserves respect & love.

Very good

Amazing location in St Jean, right in the middle of the port with everything you need. Simple, but very clean rooms with little fridge. Cleaning every day with fresh towels. The owners are very accommodating and responsive. Good value for for money.

A kettle and some basic utensils would be good to have in the room. But this didn't spoil my impression.

Very good

Great hotel for normal people without oligarch cousins. You can enjoy all the allure, quality and comfort of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat and still not spend all the money you ever saved for your holiday. Very friendly, normal and human place with amazing view. Plus all beach equipment you would ever need, like umbrellas stored in little cupboard in the coridor. We loved it :)

Surprisingly pleasant.

We were given breakfast for free, quite basic but fresh. We had a room with a view of the harbour and the coast line, magnificent! The hotel is located just above the harbour with nice restaurants all around. For the money we paid outstanding value.

The hotel is a bit scruffy and really could do with tidying, but the cost would treble! Some things are better left how they are.
