ok for short term stay

It was great that there was a free garage. The room was of adequate size and had sufficient amenities. We were able to adjust the room temperature as we wished using the radiators. The location was excellent for our Dolomites trip during winter.

The pillows were yellowed and stained. Putting a white cover on them doesn't hide the dirt inside... The bathroom ventilation was very noisy. At night, anyone who went to the bathroom either woke the other person with the noise or used the bathroom in the dark. *Room 3* Because there was no shower cabin, the whole bathroom got wet while I was showering.

Historic place

We had a very nice and comfortable room with a super new bathroom and view of the main square. The building is amazing, like living in a museum. The breakfast was great, but the highlight of our stay was enjoying a generous pour of eiswein in front of the stove in the bar/reception. The owner made us feel really at home! We would love to come back.

Nice historic experience

This hotel offers a unique experience. The building itself is old house/castle and still breathes the atmosphere. The room is also styled that way. The location is close to some nice bars, restaurants and bakeries. perfect to stay 1 night on the way.

Exceptional

The hotel is set in a historical house that dates from the 1200. Later Was a house of a Duke and became the court house with prison. Inside the hotel there is also a Chappel. The owner was very nice and helpful. She made us feel at home. Breakfast was very good and the rooms were very cool.

Very good and would recommend for sure!

Staff was super helpful and friendly. Location is at close driving distance to main sky slopes/facilities. Albeit the very short stay of 3 nights we had an awesome time. We also met the landlord, a truly very nice, hospitable and knowledgeable gentleman who knows lots about local arts and history.

I understood that because of Covid some services were - understandably so - scaled down eg. breakfast. We also had to walk to a different venue for our dinner, not ideal in the dark with two small kids but manageable given circumstances.

The hotel looks great, the royal-style decor is cool! Our room was clean and the view from the balcony was beautiful. Also the personnel was really friendly.

I wish there was a kettle and maybe a fridge in the room for those guests who do not eat meals at the hotel.

High and dry in Muehlbach

We arrived at this hotel with our E-bikes in the midst of a powerful electrical storm just before a big deluge of rain. We were immediately able to store our bikes in a dry and safe storage place underneath the hotel. This hotel had a friendly personal touch and we had an interesting chat with the owner regarding a topic that we were exceedingly curious about, primarily due to the fact that I was born in Austria - namely the current relations between Austrians and Italians in the autonomous region of South Tyrol. The owner was very open and informative. Room was warm, clean and we had a good nights sleep. The breakfast had ample variety and included very enticing sweets that Austrians seem to excel in - a great treat for an incurable 'sweet-tooth'.

We could not find fault with this hotel and would definitely give it our universal recommendation to stay there, especially if you are planning a bike tour.

Good stay on our bicycle tour Munich - Venice

Nice and interesting old building with a gallery of portraits in the main lobby. Good breakfast and friendly personnel. We could leave our bicycles overnight in a garage, safe from the mighty rain. Restaurants and main pedestrian street are nearby.

A perfect alpine stopover

We arrived at very late at 10pm and were still greeted warming at the reception desk. We were leaving very early the next morning to go on a hike and were offered a lunch pack to take with us. So thoughtful and was definitely above and beyond what they had to provide.

Alloggio storico che ha delle migliorie da fare.

Centro paese, si gira a piedi, alloggio dispone di alcuni posti auto al coperto. Camera classica e più grande della media. Colazione varia sia salato che dolce. Hotel è internamente molto carino. Sembra di essere in un museo.

Cuscini troppo sottili, coperte pesanti ma non caldi (nell' armadio potrebbero aggiungere una coperta), il terzo letto non aveva una coperta adeguata ( era una coperta tipo di asciugamano/simil lana sottile, ma non era di lana) e il cuscino era anch'esso inconsistente. Con qualche miglioria l'hotel potrebbe essere molto più confortevole. Il bagno è piccolo e moderno, manca la tenda per la doccia/porta separé per cui si potrebbe allargare la stanza da bagno.

Pulizia scarsissima, i rubinetti rotti, acqua calda pochissima, non presente ascensore. Siamo in Italia e alla reception solo personale che parla inglese.

Hotel-palauet ubicat al centre de la població, molt tranquil. Un dia vam haver d'esmorzar abans de l'hora i no hi va haver cap problema. A prop de Brixen i la Val di Funes.

Posizione strategica per la zona. Bellissima abitazione tipica altotesina che, a mio parere, andrebbe curata un po’ di più. Staff disponibile e piacevole. Buffet colazione ben assortito.
